The Rhône Valley vineyards, covering 65,000 hectares, are the second largest in France. The Condrieu AOC, covering 130 hectares in the Rhône, Loire and Ardèche regions, is renowned for its white wines made exclusively from Viognier grapes. The soils, mainly composed of gneiss and granitic rocks, give the wines a great aromatic richness. Smooth, slightly acidic, fat and round on the palate, these wines offer aromas of peach, apricot, violet, dried fruit, honey and minerality. They can be kept for up to 5 years.
