Spread over more than 65,000 hectares of vines, the Rhone Valley vineyard is the second largest French vineyard and covers 6 departments between Vienne and Avignon. It includes the AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages Puyméras.
The appellation area of this AOC extends over the territory of the communes of Mérendol les Oliviers, Mollans-sr-Ouvèze, Faucon, Saint Romain en Viennois and Puyméras on approximately 130 hectares of soils composed of sand, stones and pebbles. Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah vines, among others, are subject to the Mediterranean climate of this geographical area, and allow the production of dry red wines. These are wines that keep very well (10 years and more), balanced and characterized by soft tannins and notes of red fruits.
