CHATEAU SAINT-ROSELINE, A PROVENCE CLASSIFIED GROWTH

Château Sainte-Roseline : A Provençal Cru Classé
Cru Classé wines in Provence ? Indeed, since 1955, 18 estates in this region have held this prestigious title. According to La Revue des Vins de France, eleven of them still deserve this distinction today. Among these is Château Sainte-Roseline, which we are highlighting today.
This Cru Classé competes with the "traditional" Cru Classés. In fact, the first vintage of La Chapelle de Sainte-Roseline in red (2004) was introduced as an "intruder" during a blind tasting of 250 Bordeaux Cru Classés by the Grand Jury. This wine was ranked among the top sixty—a remarkable recognition for a red wine from Provence and a well-deserved reward for the Château's team.
A Committed Winemaker: "For Whom Living is an Art..."
Aurélie Bertin, the owner of this prestigious family estate and classified site, is driven by a conviction shared with her team: to preserve the environment as much as possible while offering quality products and services.
The art of wine is the philosophy of the estate. The conjunction of soil, climate, and human intervention is at the heart of the quality of Château Sainte-Roseline wines. In line with these values, the estate is now undergoing conversion to obtain the "Vignerons Engagés" label and is in its second year of conversion to organic farming. The vineyard has been certified as High Environmental Value level three since 2019.
High-Quality Wines that Rival the Finest
What are these wines that stand up to the greatest Cru Classés? Château Sainte-Roseline boasts 110 hectares on an exceptional terroir of clay-limestone soils, drawing water from a deep underground source.
The vineyard's varietals enable the production of red wines (Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cabernet Sauvignon), Provençal rosés (Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, and Tibouren), and white wines (Rolle and Sémillon).
This exceptional setting allows the estate to produce outstanding wines year after year. Why not surprise your guests with a great Provençal wine? Discover the estate's cuvées now on Avenuedesvins.
