AOC Clairette de die

Spread over more than 65,000 hectares of vines, the Rhone Valley vineyard is the second largest French vineyard and covers 6 departments between Vienne and Avignon. It includes the AOC Clairette de Die.

The appellation area of ​​this AOC extends in the Diois vineyard over some 1,500 hectares of soils mainly composed of clay and limestone. Muscat à petits grains and Clairette vines, subject to the Mediterranean climate and mountain influences of this geographical area, are planted in this appellation and produce sparkling white wines. These are elegant wines, both light and marked by the sweetness of the residual sugars they contain, and by a rich and very fine aromatic bouquet (citrus fruits, muscat, rose, honey).
