Spread over more than 65,000 hectares of vines, the Rhone Valley vineyard is the second largest French vineyard and covers 6 departments between Vienne and Avignon. It includes the AOC Châtillon-en-Diois.

The appellation area of this AOC extends over the territory of 12 communes of the Diois vineyard on some 67 hectares of soils mainly composed of clay, limestone and scree. Gamay, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Aligoté and Chardonnay vines, subject to the Mediterranean climate and mountain influences of this geographical area, are planted in this appellation and produce white, rosé and red wines. The latter are balanced, mineral, aromatic (blackcurrant, wild strawberry, redcurrant, pepper) and have melted tannins. The rosés are light and lively with a bouquet marked by red fruits. Fresh and round on the palate, the white wines express notes of citrus fruits and white flowers.
