In the center-east of France, Burgundy is one of the oldest French wine regions, known for its very great vintages. It includes the AOC Bourgogne Epineuil.

Its appellation area extends into the Tonnerois in the commune of Epineuil and represents around a hundred hectares of vines, planted in clay-limestone soils. The AOC Bourgogne Epineuil produces white, rosé and red wines based on chardonnay, pinot noir and pinot gris grape varieties, in a microclimate favorable to these vines. The lively and balanced white wines offer notes of fruit (peach), as do the red wines (frits rouges and noirs) which are both tannic and light. The rosés are supple and fresh.
