In the center-east of France, Burgundy is one of the oldest French wine regions, known for its very great vintages. It includes in particular the AOC Bourgogne Clairet.

Its appellation area extends over the whole of Burgundy on an area of nearly 2,000 hectares. The AOC Bourgogne Clairet produces rosé wines made from very varied Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris due to the multiplicity of terroirs on which they are produced: clay, limestone, marl soils and continental, Mediterranean or even oceanic climates. These wines, which are pleasant to drink young, give off aromas of mainly red fruits.
