Domaine de l'Aigle Pinot Noir

The Domaine de L’Aigle is located at the bottom of the Falaise de Roquetaillade, in the terroir of Limoux. Its soils benefit from a cool climate. This estate has emerged with the aim of growing uncommon grape varieties in this region, such as Chardonnay or Pinot Noir grape varieties which are more present in northern regions. It is in 2007 that Gérard Bertrand obtained this estate and had the determination to develop its potential. Thanks to its altitude position in the Haute Vallée de l’Aude, it is one of the highest estates, and therefore it benefits from a cool climate. This climate gives aromatic wines, fresh, balanced with beautiful tannins and acidity. Certified Demeter since the 2018 millesime, cultivated biodynamic agriculture.
