4 CREATIVE IDEAS FOR TURNING YOUR CORKS INTO DECORATIVE OBJECTS

How to Reuse Cork Stoppers?
Creative Ideas to Transform Your Old Cork Stoppers into Art
1) Write Love Messages
After a few drinks, you might feel inspired to tell your loved ones that you care. Why not use cork stoppers to convey your feelings? You don’t need to create something as elaborate as shown in the image above. Find your own way to assemble the corks into letters. Let your creativity and emotions flow!
2) Build Miniature Furniture
At gatherings, there's often someone nervously fiddling with a champagne cork and twisting its frame. Want to impress your friends? Gently take the cork from their hands, keeping the capsule, and turn it into a chair, table, or desk. Admittedly, this is easier said than done. Here’s a video tutorial to help you practice at home!
3) Collect Corks
A single cork might not be the most aesthetically pleasing thing on its own. Two or three is not much better. But collect more than ten, and it can become quite interesting. Instead of throwing them all away, start a collection. Once you have enough, find a container—a jar, vase, glass, plastic box, or anything you like—and drop them all in. The result can be quite charming (see the image above).
4) Make Mini Flower Pots
If you have a green thumb and love mini plants, consider making small flower pots from cork stoppers. It’s not only original and cute but also practical since cork (from oak bark) is a great insulator that will protect your plant. However, it does require some DIY work. Start by boiling the corks to expand and soften them. Then, drill a hole in the center of each cork. Success? Great! Now, just add some soil to your cork flower pots and replant your plants. To keep them upright, you have several options: super glue (against a wall), a magnet (on the fridge), or simply place them in a large pot or glass bowl if you want an easier solution!
