DOMAINE GRAND-CHEMI, IN THE HEART OF THE PAYS D'OC

A Heritage of Over 400 Years
With a history spanning over 400 years, Domaine Grand-Chemin, located at the foot of the Cévennes, embodies the authenticity and passion of the terroir.
Nestled in sun-soaked landscapes, the estate enjoys a privileged location that allows it to produce wines that are both elegant and representative of the richness of the Pays d’Oc. The stony soils and favorable climatic conditions give the different grape varieties a unique expression, resulting in wines of character.
A Visionary Approach
Since 1972, Jean-Marc Floutier has continuously innovated to adapt the estate to modern demands while respecting tradition. In 1987, the winemaker played a pivotal role in creating the Pays d’Oc wines, paving the way for the planting of international grape varieties in the region. This pioneering spirit, combined with a deep knowledge of the terroir, makes Domaine Grand-Chemin a key player in the Languedoc vineyard.
Vignerons from Father to Son
Domaine Grand-Chemin is, above all, a family affair, passed down from generation to generation for over three centuries. The Floutier family has successively managed the estate, each contributing to its legacy while preserving the essence of this historic place. Jean-Marc Floutier, who joined the estate in 1970, transformed it with an innovative vision while remaining faithful to the family's roots. He leveraged the strengths of the terroir while integrating new viticultural practices, allowing the estate to grow while respecting tradition.
Today, Emmanuel and Frédéric Floutier continue this heritage with the same dedication. Their goal is to keep producing high-quality wines while addressing new challenges, such as climate change. Projects like planting drought-resistant grape varieties and creating an oenotourism offer, set for 2026, reflect their commitment to evolving the estate while preserving its identity.
Domaine Grand-Chemin: Unique Wines
Domaine Grand-Chemin offers numerous wines that reflect the diversity and richness of its terroir. Signature cuvées like "Cuvée JMF," a unique blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir, showcase the estate’s ability to blend tradition with innovation. Whether red, white, or rosé, the wines are crafted with meticulous attention, with every step designed to reveal the purity of the aromas and the elegance of the flavors.
The estate offers a wide selection of cuvées to suit any occasion. From fresh, fruity whites to powerful, complex reds, each bottle tells a story—a story of terroir, craftsmanship, and a passion shared across generations. Domaine Grand-Chemin continues to surprise and delight, offering wine lovers an authentic experience rooted in respect for the land and a love for wine.
