AOC Vin de Corse - Sartène

The Corsican vineyard represents the smallest wine production of all French vineyards, with less than 1% of the total. On the Isle of Beauty, we can notably find the AOC Vin de Corse - Sartène.

The appellation area of ​​this AOC extends to the south of the AOC Ajaccio on approximately 170 hectares of granite hillsides. Vines of niellucio, vermentino and sciaccarello mainly are subject to the Mediterranean climate, both very sunny and tempered by the mistral of this geographical area, and allow the production of white, rosé and red wines. The wines of this appellation are velvety and express the characteristics on which they were produced. They are aged in oak barrels which allows them to develop their personality.
