AOC Arbois mousseux

Over a distance of 80km, in the departments of Haute-Saône, Doubs and Jura, the Jura vineyard represents nearly 2,000 hectares of vines. It includes in particular the AOC Arbois mousseux.

The appellation area of ​​this AOC extends over the territory of Arbois and surrounding communes on nearly 650 hectares of mainly marl soils. Trousseau, Chardonnay, Pinot (blanc, gris and noir), Savagnin and Poulsard vines are planted in this appellation and allow the production of white and rosé sparkling wines. The whites, which represent the majority of the production, are light, fruity and lively.
