AOC L'étoile mousseux

Over a distance of 80km, in the departments of Haute-Saône, Doubs and Jura, the Jura vineyard represents nearly 2,000 hectares of vines. It includes in particular the AOC L'étoile mousseux.

The appellation area of ​​this AOC extends over the commune of l'Etoile and its surroundings on some 60 hectares of limestone, clay and marl soils, just like the AOC l'Etoile. Mainly Chardonnay and Poulsard vines are planted in this appellation and make it possible to produce sparkling white wines according to the traditional Champagne method. These fine wines are known for their quality and their persistent aromas, often of fruits and flowers.
