In 1529, Jean Girard was cultivating vines in Savigny les Beaune. Today, Jean-Jacques Girard and his children carry on the tradition, running a family estate covering 18 hectares in the communes of Savigny les Beaune, Pernand-Vergelesses, Aloxe Corton, Volnay, Pommard and Beaune.
