Portraits of winemakers
LES VIGNOBLES OLIVIER FLEURY

Vignobles Olivier Fleury: Bordeaux Tradition
This estate has deep roots in the Bordeaux wine trade, with a history dating back to the 15th century through Conrad Gaussen. Over the centuries, the vineyards have expanded, and today they cover nearly 32 hectares of vines. The wines of Vignobles Olivier Fleury are a testament to ancestral mastery and expertise.
The estates strive to ensure that each wine perfectly reflects the excellence of the terroir from which it originates. Vignobles Olivier Fleury includes several prestigious Bordeaux châteaux and estates, such as Château du Pavillon, Clos des Servitudes, Château Les Roques, and Château Fleury. The vineyard is ideally situated on a terroir of gravel and clay-limestone soils, allowing the vines to flourish and enhance the classic Bordeaux grape varieties.
Sensitivity in the Pursuit of Excellence
Olivier Fleury hails from a family of winemakers. His sensitivity and keen olfactory precision have guided him from a young age, deepening his attachment to his terroir. Passionate about the vines, he views wine, with all its aromatic complexity, as a playground for discovery and a formidable training ground.
In 1994, Olivier Fleury took over the management of Fleury Cellars, which belonged to his family. Then in 2009, following in the family tradition, he became co-manager of Vignobles Fleury. He dedicates his efforts to achieving excellence and has undertaken significant developments within the estate. In 2012, he acquired Maison Eyquard, which produces prestigious Bordeaux wines. Every day, he works to restore the full nobility of Bordeaux cuvées.
Vignobles Olivier Fleury: Refinement and Quality
The Fleury vineyards span several terroirs and major Bordeaux appellations. As a result, the Fleury estates produce outstanding sweet wines under the Sainte-Croix-du-Mont, Sauternes, Barsac, and Loupiac appellations. The vineyard also produces red wine, white wine, crémant, and rosé under the Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur appellations.
The estate's motto, "Quality and Refinement in Every Bottle," guides the winemaker through every stage of the vinification process. The grapes are carefully nurtured, and the wine is vinified with great attention to offer the best expression and reflection of its unique terroir. Vignobles Olivier Fleury produces exceptional cuvées that honor the Bordeaux region. The Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux cuvée from Clos des Servitudes is one of the winemaker’s favorites. This atypical and timeless micro-cuvée offers an original wine, with great finesse and exceptional length on the palate.
