In the south-east of France, the very sunny vineyard of Provence extends over approximately 200km between the Mediterranean and the Alps, in the Bouches-du-Rhône, the Var and the Alpes Maritimes. It includes the IGP Alpilles.
The appellation area of this IGP extends over the territory of the Bouches-du-Rhône department in the south of France. Rosés represent 78% of the production of wines of this appellation. The white, rosé and red wines of this appellation are known for their great diversity and reflect the characteristics of the terroir on which they were produced but also of the grape varieties used in their production.
