AOC Gigondas

The Controlled designation of origin (AOC) Gigondas is a designation with a landscape as breathtaking as its wines. Nestled at the base of the Dentelles de Montmirail, the vineyard surrounding the village of Gigondas was carved into the hillsides by human hand. The vine benefits from one of the most beautiful view of the valley. 

The wines are essentially red ones, made of Grenache Noir, Syrah and Mourvèdre. They offer a rich bouquet of red fruits and spices. They are tannic and structured and have a great ageing potential. 

Rosé wines are also produced with grenache Noir and other authorized grape varieties of the AOC Côtes du Rhône and express the freshness of Gigondas’ terroir.
