In the south of France, the sunny Languedoc-Roussillon vineyard stretches over more than 240,000 hectares from Nîmes to Leucate (Aude), making it one of the largest vineyards in the world. Among its notable appellations is AOC Crémant de Limoux.

Similar to AOC Limoux, the appellation area for AOC Crémant de Limoux spans the territory of 41 communes located 25 km from Carcassonne, covering around 1,420 hectares of clay-limestone and stony soils. Chardonnay, Chenin, and Mauzac vines, influenced by the Mediterranean climate of this geographical area, are planted within this appellation, producing white and rosé sparkling wines meant to be enjoyed young. The whites are fresh, rich, lively, delicate, and highly aromatic with notes of white flowers and citrus. The rosés are very fruity, fresh, smooth, and well-balanced.
