On the palate, the wine is rich and full-bodied, with a surprising freshness and a round, lively finish.
This wine goes well with fleshier fish and shellfish such as lobster and scallops, as well as white meats (poultry, pork) or creamy sauces with a hint of acidity. Also ideal on a cheese platter.
Ideal recipe: Roast poulard with lemongrass jus. Tatin of artichokes and andouillettes with Vouvray.
