Vignobles Bardet: Celebrating Terroir Diversity and HVE 3 Certification

Bardet Vineyards are located in the renowned Saint-Emilion Grand Cru and Côtes de Castillon appellations. Spanning 40 hectares in Saint-Emilion Grand Cru and 15 hectares in Côtes de Castillon, Vignobles Bardet are divided into over 100 distinct plots, offering a remarkable diversity of soils (limestone, gravel, sand, clay, molasses), exposures, and microclimates. This varied distribution reduces the risk of hail, frost, or pest infestations, while providing our wines with a broad range of aromas and flavors.

We are proud to hold the HVE 3 certification, which recognizes our commitment to High Environmental Value. This certification acknowledges our environmentally responsible farming practices, adhering to stringent guidelines set and controlled by the French government. Meticulous work is done to harvest each terroir and grape variety—Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc—separately, ensuring the finest expression of each plot.
