Vignobles Ponty: A Legacy of Quality in Bordeaux

Vignobles Ponty is a family estate in the heart of Bordeaux. At the beginning of the 20th century, the Ponty family came to Fronsac, in the Libourne region, to the heart of the great Bordeaux terroirs, to produce and sell the wine made on their estates. Four generations have contributed to the quality and reputation of Ponty wines. Michel Ponty, the current manager, was born on the estate and began to work there at 21 years old, alongside his oldest brother and his father, who himself took over from his father, Victor Ponty, who was the one to begin this family passion.
