The Story of Vignobles Arbo

Since 1988, Bernadette and Joseph Arbo have managed the family estate, which now spans a total of 51 hectares, divided between two prestigious Bordeaux appellations:

• Francs Côtes de Bordeaux, with 41 hectares dedicated to red wine production and 2 hectares for white wine.
• Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux, covering 10 hectares primarily producing red wine.

The Next Generation Takes the Lead

Today, their children have joined the family business, bringing new energy and expertise. Dorian, the winemaker, followed his studies in viticulture and oenology with international experience. He worked in New Zealand as a cellar master and then as chief grower for Clos Henri (Henri Bourgeois, Sancerre). After returning to France, he purchased a property in Montagne Saint-Emilion with his wife and took over the management of Vignobles Arbo, handling production and winemaking.

Margaux, specializing in sales and marketing, also has a background in the wine industry. After completing her Master's in International Wine and Spirits Business in Dijon, she worked in the United States for a distributor before returning to Bordeaux to work with a leading Bordeaux négociant, focusing on the American market. With over ten years of experience in Bordeaux wine distribution and extensive travel, Margaux took over the estate’s commercialization in 2023.

Together, Dorian and Margaux form the perfect duo, ready to honor the legacy of their parents and grandparents while bringing their own ambitions and fresh ideas to Vignobles Arbo. Stay tuned for exciting developments!
