La Cavale: A Wine Estate in the Heart of Luberon, Offering a Range of Wines with Character

La Cavale, owned by Paul Dubrule, co-founder of Accor, was established in 1986 after he fell in love with the Luberon. Spanning 41 hectares, the estate is planted with 8 different grape varieties and is located in the heart of the regional natural park, surrounded by the villages of Lourmarin, Cucuron, Vaugines, and Cadenet. Situated on hillside vineyards, La Cavale produces wines of exceptional character—fresh and fruity whites and rosés, and elegant reds with excellent aging potential.

The estate offers three distinct wine ranges: Petite Cavale for everyday enjoyment, Cavale for pleasure wines, and Grande Cavale for the finest reds that will age beautifully in the cellar.

La Cavale also stands as an extraordinary wine tourism destination. Designed by architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, the estate features not only its impressive wine cellars but also a 500 m² store selling wines from around the world, spirits, gourmet products, luxury crystalware, and wine-related objects and books. Visitors can enjoy tastings, workshops on grape varieties and viticulture, and explore the terroir of the Luberon. During the summer, guests can relax on the terrace overlooking the regional park, while weekly concerts add to the vibrant atmosphere.
