Domaine Nairaud-Suberville: A Vineyard at the Heart of Châteaumeillant

Domaine Nairaud-Suberville spans 21 hectares, strategically located at the crossroads of two distinct terroirs—the sandy loam of the Parisian basin and the metamorphic soils of the Massif Central—right in the commune of Châteaumeillant, Cher. As the largest vineyard in the Châteaumeillant appellation, Domaine Nairaud-Suberville enjoys a privileged position in a lush, green oasis, surrounded by hedgerows that were once celebrated by the famed author George Sand.

Thanks to the diversity of the terroir, each plot is vinified separately, with every vintage carrying the name of the plot from which the grapes are sourced. This meticulous approach highlights the unique geographical and geological characteristics of the estate, resulting in wines that beautifully express the exceptional qualities of the land. The wines produced—Vin Gris and red wine—blend the intensity and sweetness of the fruit with the strength and liveliness of the underlying bedrock, offering a refined balance of power and elegance.
