Domaine Les Roches in Saint-Pourçain
Located in the Saint-Pourçain appellation in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, within the Loire Valley wine region, Domaine Les Roches was acquired by Rodolph Dachard in 2017. Passionate about his region, Rodolph embarked on producing wines that showcase the unique attributes of this charming terroir. Historically, wines from Saint-Pourçain have been highly regarded since the 13th century, served at the tables of the Kings of France and at the court of the Popes in Avignon.
Rodolph Dachard’s Passion for Wine
Today, Rodolph Dachard is dedicated to demonstrating the quality of his wines and dreams of promoting the wines of the Saint-Pourçain appellation on a global scale. Working alongside other local winegrowers, he produces wines that are elegant, fine, and full of character—wines that certainly deserve their place among other prestigious appellations. As he eloquently puts it, "The true secret of the exceptional quality of the wines from Domaine Les Roches is the work done with love, passion, and the continuous pursuit of balance and good taste."
The grapes for his wines are harvested manually, sourced from a variety of Tressailier, Gamay, Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir.
