The Sauvayre family has been rooted in the land since the 1800s, initially working as farmers before transitioning to vine-growers. Over the generations, each family member has contributed to the establishment of what is now Domaine le Puy du Maupas. Today, the estate spans 42 hectares, producing wines from several prestigious AOCs: Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Rhône Villages Puymeras, and the highly regarded Vinsobres (a Premier Cru of Drôme Provençale).
