Domaine J&D: Innovation and Tradition in the Heart of the Rhône Valley

Nestled at the foot of Mont Ventoux, Domaine J&D is located in Caromb, within the prestigious southern Rhône Valley. Founded in 2009, this young estate was created through the passion and collaboration of Evelyn, Julien, and Didier Arocas, who share a deep commitment to cultivating vines and expressing the rich, complex terroir of the region.

At Domaine J&D, we strive to blend innovation with tradition. While we employ modern equipment and technology, we are deeply rooted in the heritage of traditional grape varieties and the diverse terroirs of the AOC Ventoux. We are committed to authenticity in our wines, ensuring that the vinification process remains natural and handcrafted, preserving the integrity of the grapes.

Our approach to viticulture is clean and organic, driven by a profound respect for the natural environment. Certified organic since 2013, we aim to produce wines that reflect the sunshine and character of the AOC Ventoux. By carefully managing the yields and balancing the vines, we achieve optimal concentration in our grapes. No chemical fertilizers or weed killers are used, as we seek harmony with nature.

The winery, built in 2009, integrates state-of-the-art technologies, but the Arocas family maintains traditional, manual practices to ensure the highest quality. Our wines are aged between 6 and 18 months in oak barrels, allowing them to develop complexity and depth. Through sustainable viticulture and a commitment to preserving the environment, Domaine J&D delivers exceptional wines that embody the values of innovation, tradition, and excellence—what we call “The spirit of J&D.”
