Located southwest of Bourges, at the heart of the historic Reuilly region, Domaine Jean-Louis spans 19 hectares of vineyards cultivated under the AOC Reuilly designation. This exceptional terroir, situated in the commune of Preuilly in the Cher, is characterized by marly limestone slopes and terraces of sand and gravel. These geological features offer ideal conditions for the development and maturation of grapes, allowing the terroir’s optimal expression.

A Historical and Precious Terroir

The Reuilly appellation has been officially recognized since 1937 for white wines and 1961 for rosé and red wines. This rich and diverse terroir has attracted winemakers over the centuries due to its well-drained soils and perfect sun exposure, ensuring high-quality harvests. The climate and soil here allow for the cultivation of grapes that are both fruity and well-balanced, which are the hallmark of Reuilly wines.
