Domaine de Viré-Clessé: A Legacy of Organic Viticulture

As the fifth generation of our family to work the land, we continue our passion in the heart of the Cru Viré-Clessé appellation. Our approach to organic production is rooted in a commitment to healthy, living soils. This allows our vines to thrive naturally and produce grapes of exceptional quality. In the winery, we adopt a minimalist approach, allowing the wine the time it needs to express its true character.

Our focus on balance and authenticity has guided us through our conversion to organic farming in 2006, and we received our official organic certification in 2009. To maintain the vitality of our vines, we use ploughing techniques and carefully controlled plant coverage, minimizing the use of sulphur and copper. This approach strengthens the natural defences of the plant and enhances the quality of our wines, allowing them to reveal the full richness of our terroirs.
