The estate is perfectly situated among renowned classified growths, offering an exceptional terroir for producing high-quality wines. Spanning 20 hectares across 60 plots in the communes of Bommes and Preignac, the vineyard benefits from gravel and sand soils that promote the flourishing of its carefully selected grape varieties.

A Terroir of Excellence

At Domaine de Carbonnieu, the dominant variety is Sémillon, making up 90% of the vineyard, with Sauvignon (5%) and Muscadelle (5%) completing the blend. These noble varieties thrive in the unique terroir, contributing to the estate’s renowned and prestigious wines.
