While the name ‘Mollard’ may seem unusual (in French, 'mollard' is a colloquial term for ‘mouth’), here it refers to ‘small mountain’ – a fitting name for a red variety with spicy, distinctive notes, perfectly representative of the Hautes-Alpes terroir. We are honored to have played a role in bringing this unique variety to prominence.
