Clos Rouge: A Tale of Passion, Friendship, and Exceptional Terroir

The story of Clos Rouge is one rooted in passion and friendship. What began in 2013 with just 2.5 hectares has blossomed into a flourishing venture, made possible by the unwavering support of our families and friends at every stage. We took our time in carefully planning the project—searching for the "ideal" plots, crafting our first vintages, and introducing them to wine enthusiasts.

Today, the estate spans 5 hectares of beautiful vines, nestled between scrubland and olive groves at an altitude of 250 meters. The soil here is a mix of Permian schist and "ruffe" (red Pelite), providing a unique foundation for the vines. To nurture the vineyard, we use natural methods, applying manure and plant extracts to help the vines fend off disease. Our primary goal is to preserve the integrity of the grapes, which is why we hand-harvest the fruit and use a vertical wine press to ensure the gentle extraction of the final juice.
