Located in the heart of the Loire Valley, within the region's largest wine-growing village, Clos du Porteau has been producing wine since the 15th century. With over 650 hectares of vineyards, our domain continues a rich 800-year-old winegrowing tradition in Touraine, passed down through generations.

A Blend of Tradition and Modernity

After studying engineering and oenology, along with extensive experience in Bordeaux, Champagne, and Provence, I took over the family estate. My mission is to harmonize modern practices with age-old traditions. We strive to expand biodiversity in our vineyards and prioritize sustainable viticulture practices.

At Clos du Porteau, we craft unique, original wines, inspired by the very roots of Georgian winemaking. Our offerings include:

In addition, my passion for beekeeping led me to create an apiary on the estate. Bees are a key indicator of biodiversity and play a vital role in our ongoing efforts to enhance and protect the natural environment surrounding our vineyards.
