Château Vermont: Boldness and Tradition in the Service of Excellence
Located in the heart of Entre-deux-Mers, Château Vermont is a family estate with a stunning 19th-century building. Today, Elisabeth and David Labat manage the 40 hectares of AOC Bordeaux Supérieur vineyards on the property.
While each generation has contributed to the estate’s growth, Elisabeth and David have made the necessary investments and efforts, including the construction of a new winemaking and storage cellar and replanting vineyards, to restore Château Vermont’s status as a first-growth estate in Entre-deux-Mers.
The estate’s wines are frequently awarded medals, and their flagship cuvée has ranked among the top 15 Bordeaux Supérieurs according to Gault & Millau. With the High Environmental Value (HVE) label, David and Elisabeth practice sustainable viticulture, respecting their environment. A precise quality policy has been implemented, managing every step of production from vine to bottle. Thanks to detailed parcel management and yield control, the grapes are harvested at perfect maturity.
Boldness, Modernity, and Tradition
Blending boldness, modernity, and tradition, Elisabeth and David focus on crafting wines of great quality and elegance, reflecting the unique terroir of Château Vermont. Every wine they produce is made with this philosophy in mind.
