Château Tasta: A Legacy of Tradition and Passion

A Chevalier Family History Since 1922
The Chevalier family has been producing wines since 1922, with each generation of winemakers leaving its mark on the estate. Over the decades, they have crafted wines that truly reflect their passion and legacy. In 2001, the family created a company bringing together Chevalier Robert (the father), Chevalier Patrice (the son), and Even Nathalie (the daughter). Today, Patrice and his wife Frédérique manage the estate, producing wines under the label Domaine des Chérubins. The name is inspired by the family's angels—Maxence and Antoine, their sons, and Loïck and Nolwenn, their nephews.

The Tradition Continues with Château Tasta

Château Tasta, located in the Fronsac and Canon Fronsac appellations, between Libourne and Bordeaux, continues the family tradition. The estate is nestled in a small valley, offering a panoramic view stretching from St Aignan to St Michel de Fronsac. The vineyard thrives on clay-limestone soils, benefiting from regular sunshine. Traditional winemaking methods are upheld, with manual harvests and a focus on quality and precision. The family’s dedication to maintaining their legacy ensures that the Canon Fronsac wines from Château Tasta remain a reflection of both history and expertise.
