Château Motte Maucourt: A Five-Generation Family Estate in the Heart of Bordeaux

Château Motte Maucourt has been a cherished family property for five generations, nestled in the heart of the Bordeaux vineyard. The estate spans 50 hectares of vines, with an average vine age of nearly 25 years. At the core of the property are two key principles: passion for winemaking and respect for tradition.

The red wines are crafted from vines grown on clay and limestone-clay soils, while the white wines come from loam soils. All wines are produced using traditional methods to preserve the organoleptic qualities of the grapes. White and rosé wines are bottled 2 to 3 months after harvest to maintain their fruity aromas and freshness. Red wines undergo ageing for 15 to 18 months in vats or barrels before being bottled.
