Château Loumelat - Famille Lesgourgues BordeauxBlaye, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a place where art and history converge, dominated by its royal citadel and surrounded by one of the most authentic vineyards in Bordeaux. Each château here hides a passionate winemaker.
Perched above the Gironde estuary, Château Loumelat benefits from an optimal exposure, producing wines of remarkable finesse. Located 10 km northeast of Blaye, the estate's clay-sandy soils are the result of oceanic sediments millions of years old, and with 240 days of sunshine annually, it enjoys a unique terroir.
Owned by the Mariochaud family since 1778, the estate benefits from the expertise of the Lesgourgues family. Spanning 49 hectares, with 38 hectares dedicated to reds and 11 hectares to whites, the wines are distributed through a network of wine merchants, restaurants, and exports, particularly to Europe, North America, and Asia.
