Château Le Noble: A Family Tradition and Exceptional Terroir
Located in the Entre-Deux-Mers region at Château Le Noble in Saint-Germain du Puch, on the left bank of the Dordogne between Bordeaux and Saint-Emilion, this family-owned vineyard has been established since 1820 and spans around thirty hectares. Converted to organic farming, the vineyard is south-facing, set on clay-limestone soil with gravel hills. It offers an ideal setting for Bordeaux grape varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon for reds, and Sémillon, Sauvignon, and Muscadelle for whites.
Crafting Organic Agriculture and Excellence
Thomas and Maria Mercedes Bonnefon, the 5th generation of winemaking owners, skillfully combine traditional winemaking techniques passed down through the years with cutting-edge technology. They place great importance on soil care and prioritize quality over yield. Using gentle, prolonged vinification methods, they preserve the full aroma of the grapes. Through their commitment to organic farming, they have developed the distinct style of Château Le Noble: an elegant expression of the terroir with round, structured, and creamy wines boasting remarkable depth.
