Estate of Milhegrand: A Heritage of Tradition and Dedication

From Monastic Beginnings to Family Tradition
Originally the Priory of Milhegrand, under the Abbey of Lagrasse in the 12th century, the estate has transformed from a religious fiefdom into a thriving vineyard passed through generations of dedicated vine-growers. Jean-Pierre and Josiane Orosquette, deeply rooted in vine-growing traditions, have continued this heritage with unwavering passion.

A Family Team

Today, their son, Jean-François Orosquette, leads the winemaking team, ensuring each bottle reflects the estate’s dedication to quality. Thierry Bergé, their son-in-law, manages the vineyard cultivation, upholding the family’s meticulous standards. Jean-Pierre and Josiane remain active, imparting their expertise to the younger team members and ensuring that the vines receive constant care. This generational commitment infuses the estate’s wines with rich history and craftsmanship.
