A Family Estate in the Heart of the Libournais Region

Located in Saint-Seurin-Sur-L’Isle, on the edge of the renowned Saint-Emilion region, this family-owned vineyard is planted with three iconic grape varieties typical of the Libournais terroir: Merlot (60%), Cabernet Franc (30%), and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%). The oldest vines date back to 1958, with the average vine age being around 1988.

Optimal Terroir and Sustainable Viticulture Practices

The vineyard enjoys optimal sun exposure thanks to the rows’ East-West orientation, maximizing the amount of sunlight. The soil consists of alternating gravel and sand layers, underpinned by a clay base, which supports the vines with consistent nutrients. During the year, the vines benefit from a balanced climate influenced by the proximity of the ocean, coupled with the exceptional microclimate of Saint-Emilion.

The vineyard follows sustainable viticulture practices, minimizing treatments and tailoring fertilization techniques for each plot to ensure a healthy, balanced ecosystem. This careful management results in high-quality grapes, offering wines with great depth and character.
