Under the care of Jean-Michel Bergeron, Château Haut La Valette has flourished, with the estate’s reach expanding significantly since he took over his father Alban's vineyard in 2000. Now spanning 22 hectares, this family estate is situated in the scenic, hilly landscapes near the Gironde estuary, whose climate enhances the quality of the wines. The vineyard features a diverse terrain, primarily clay-limestone soil, with additional sandy-clay and red clay sections, and benefits from optimal south and south-west facing slopes.

With varieties including Merlot Noir, Malbec, and Cabernet, the estate produces red wines cherished for their roundness and rich flavors, perfect for pairing with meals.
