A chef and hotelier-restaurateur for more than 30 years, Patrick, being passionate about wine, took over the family estate with his wife Marie-Christine in 2002. Château Gessan extends today over 24 hectares. Made up of gravelly and sandy soils, benefiting from perfect sunshine, the resulting wine is remarkably elegant. From the choice of barrels to the finest wine-making technologies, Patrick Gonzales takes care to respect his terroirs. Complemented in his search for excellence by a consultant oenologist, Stéphane Toutoundji, he makes Saint Emilions and Saint Emilion Grand Crus, which are both distinguished and perfectly balanced.
