CHATEAU DU PAYRE

The Château du Payre vineyard is located in the commune of Cardan, several kilometres to the south-east of Bordeaux (30 minutes) in the Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, close to the village of Cadillac (5 minutes). It is in this beautiful, lush, hilly region of Entre Deux Mers that we farm our 35 hectares of vines. The terroir is made up of, depending on our plots, clay-gravel, clay-sand and clay-loam soils. This diversity allows us to create wines with strong personalities and ripe fruit aromas that are pleasant to drink young. The expression of the terroir, depending on the years, varies from one area to another, providing diversity in our range of red and white wines.
