Château des Bertrands: A Provençal Jewel in the Heart of Nature

A former Colbert hunting lodge, the Château des Bertrands is a 200-hectare estate located in the heart of the Natura 2000 protected area, a natural reserve for the Hermann tortoise, at the foot of the Maures mountain chain.

The vineyard, originally established in 1964, now spans 84 hectares of vines, including 20 hectares planted in 2012 with carefully selected vine varieties. This vineyard is a true little Provençal gem, nestled near the coast. Since 2010, the estate has been part of the Vignobles de Berne, which is transforming it into a major venue for Var viticulture, dedicated to producing exceptional wines.
