Growth and Production at Château au Grand Paris
Château au Grand Paris is located in the Bordeaux region, in the commune of Cazaugitat, near Sauveterre-de-Guyenne. The estate's history dates back to the 18th century when it was originally built as a monastery with its own vineyard. It wasn’t until 1931 that the Langel family acquired the property and began its transformation into a modern winery.
With the help of successive generations, the Langel family expanded the vineyard to its current size of 35 hectares. Today, Isabelle and her brother Christophe continue the family tradition, producing wines from the emblematic grape varieties of the Bordeaux region. For red wines, they cultivate Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, while Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon, and Muscadelle are used for the whites. The result is a range of balanced, easy-drinking wines that reflect the unique character of the estate.
