Our vineyards in Fronsac and Bordeaux Supérieur share several key characteristics: the authenticity of their terroirs, prime locations that ensure optimal grape maturation, and the sought-after "typicality" of our wines. For four generations, since 1955, we have passed down a passion for meticulous work and a dedication to producing original, generous, and high-quality wines, all created for the enjoyment of our customers. Bottling is carried out exclusively at our châteaux, a testament to the trust our clients place in us. At Château Renard, respecting the landscapes of Fronsac and the environment is a core principle.

Commitment to Biodiversity and Environmental Sustainability at Château Renard

Certified HVE 3 (High Environmental Value) since 2018 and transitioning to organic farming since 2020, we have taken a significant step forward in our environmental commitment. For years, we have always acted in harmony with our surroundings and terroir. We have been free of herbicides since 1998, and our vineyard management, including soil work, is done thoughtfully with a focus on sustainability. Protecting biodiversity is crucial to us. In 2012, we planted hedges to protect beneficial wildlife, and in 2018, we created a pond fed by a spring to support migratory birds, with plans to install nesting boxes soon.
