This family vineyard was established in 1970 by Lucien Baty in Bassuet, nestled in the Vitryat hills where Chardonnay reigns supreme. In 1980, Lucien’s son, Hugues, took over and continued to expand the vineyard plots. In 2010, he was joined by his son-in-law, Romain Prieur, and together they launched their cuvées under the H.BATY brand. Dedicated to sustainable viticulture and environmental responsibility, H.BATY champagnes are crafted to offer outstanding quality. Aged for a minimum of four years, these champagnes are ready to be savored and enjoyed.
