Maison de Champagne DAMIEN-BUFFET, a family-owned champagne house since the 15th century, is recognized as the oldest family in the village of Sacy, a Champagne village located on the outskirts of Reims. Sacy is a Premier Cru village, one of the 44 out of 312 villages in Champagne, renowned for its Meunier grape, a variety unique to Champagne.

The champagnes from Maison DAMIEN-BUFFET are made from the three traditional Champagne grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Meunier.
