Winemaker’s Anecdote:

“The Cuvée Symphonie was created for the 50th anniversary of our family’s harvest. We had to make it memorable! The word ‘symphony’ seemed perfect as it evokes celebration, joy, and symbolizes the sweet character of our wine,” says Édouard Castellino, owner of Domaine Canta Rainette.

Dressed in a beautiful bright salmon pink robe, this naturally sweet rosé wine surprises with its originality. Its highly expressive aromas of white-fleshed fruits offer a wonderful explosion of flavors on the palate. Perfect to accompany foie gras and chocolate desserts.

2. CUVÉE SI, DO, RÉ (2011)

CLOSERIE DU BOIS JOLI – AOC COTEAUX DU LAYON

Winemaker’s Anecdote:

“When we first vinified this cuvée, we were surprised to see such a golden color! Pronouncing ‘si-do-ré’ out loud immediately reminded us of musical notes. For us, classical music enthusiasts, it was the perfect fit!” say Vincent and Nathalie Bétis, owners of Closerie du Bois Joli.

With its golden robe, aromas of candied fruits, and perfect balance on the palate, the Cuvée Si-Do-Ré will make your taste buds sing! Ideal as an aperitif or with fruit desserts.

3. CUVÉES OPUS N°9

DOMAINE J&D – AOC VENTOUX

Winemaker’s Anecdote:

“I have always been a music lover. That’s why I like to compare my wines to pieces of music, sonatas, scores… or opuses! In fact, the Cuvée Opus N°9 was created in 2009, hence its name. We also have the Opéra cuvée, which symbolizes a powerful and harmonious wine, just like an opera!” says Didier Arocas, owner of Domaine J&D.

Dressed in an intense red robe, this wine offers aromas of morello cherry and vanilla. It reveals a powerful and rich palate with notes of blackcurrant and jammy black fruits. Ideal with red meat and game.

4. CUVÉE HARMONIE (2009)

LA GRANDE MAISON – AOC CÔTES DE BERGERAC

Winemaker’s Anecdote:

“Our cuvée is named Harmonie because it represents a perfect balance between the richness of the fruit and the complexity of its aromas. More generally, our method of making wine is similar to composing a piece of music. We cultivate our vines biodynamically, meaning we align with the rhythm of the moon. It’s all about tempo and harmony, just like music,” says Benjamin Chabrol, owner of Domaine La Grande Maison.

Harmonie stands out with its dense ruby red robe with garnet reflections. Its fine and powerful nose, with aromas of jammy black fruits, announces a fruity palate with a slightly minty finish. It pairs well with red meats, white meats, and game.
