Located in the heart of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape AOC, on an old Provençal farmhouse, Les Clefs du Secret embodies the spirit of the South and the Rhône Valley in all its majesty. In this unique terroir, viticulture is part of the region's DNA, and it is in this privileged environment that "Men" with a capital "M" took on the challenge of awakening a long-dormant estate.

Sharing the same values and passion for wine, the Hillaire and Brochot families came together, led by men of heart and talent, to create the cuvée "Les Clefs du Secret." In 2019, the estate produced its first blend of "Les Clefs du Secret." This was an immense source of pride and deep emotion for these two passionate individuals, who felt like two fathers witnessing the birth of a newborn.

Les Clefs du Secret: An Organic Wine Combining Character and Elegance

Driven by passion and a love for well-crafted work, the estate has chosen to cultivate its entire vineyard organically. As a small-scale estate, the vines are tended like a garden, with each vine treated with the utmost care in perfect harmony with nature. Respect for the terroir and the environment is integral to the philosophy of Les Clefs du Secret. Pesticides are strictly prohibited, and the local flora and fauna play a full role in the well-being of the vines and the quality of the resulting wine.

The result is a wine that is both robust and sensual, much like the wines of the Southern Rhône Valley, and particularly those of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. Châteauneuf-du-Pape is known for producing wines with character, but with enough delicacy to be accessible to a wide audience.
